LTA sponsors solo violinist Alexander Shonert

The violin virtuoso Alexander Shonert comes from the Russian city of Irkutsk, but has lived and worked in Prague since 1999.

Besides giving live performances all over the world, Alexander also dedicates his time to lecturing running seminars and virtuoso classes at music academies and music conservatories in Europe and in the United States.

As a recognition of his contribution to Czech culture, Alexander was awarded Czech citizenship, in addition to his Russian one, in 2010.
