Decrease of VAT rates as of 1.5.2020

According to the Act No. 256/2019 Coll, the following supplies will be subject to 10% VAT rate as of 1 May 2020:-

• e-books and similar products
• lending of books
• water supply and sewage
• catering (restaurant) services including draft beer
• household cleaning services
• home care for children, seniors, sick and disabled people
• footwear and leather goods
• repair clothing and textile products repair and modification
• bicycle repairs
• hairdressing and barbers’ services
